How to manage how you receive egroup postings

Hello everyone,

It seems the amount of activity on the egroup has picked up significantly in the past week or so. It is nice to see that neighbors are utilizing this egroup to get out information to everyone. With increased usage comes more daily messages posted. I want to make sure all of the egroup members are aware that you can change how you access the egroup postings as they come in throughout the day.

For those who don’t mind the emails coming in throughout the day you can keep things as they are and the emails will come to your email as they are posted. Also, if you wanted to continue getting messages throughout the day, but not to your current email address, you can contact me to change your email address as well.

For those who want to limit or change how you access the daily postings you have options. In order to use these options you have to sign up for a google account. If you have a gmail email address you already can access these options. Signing up for a google account can be done very easily by going to the egroup website at
Once you are on the website you click on “sign in” on the top right hand corner of your screen. This will bring you to the sign in screen. Once there you can sign in to the egroup website if you have a google account, or if not, click on the “create an account” option on the lower right side of the screen. It is free to sign up and asks for basic info such as an email address, name, and date of birth. Once you set up this account you can sign in to the egroup web site and read all the egroup postings there, or change your settings to manage the egroup postings in a way that your are comfortable with.

In order to change your posting settings you first need to log into the website again at Once you are signed in you go to “edit my membership” in the middle of the column of options on the right side of your screen. When you click on “edit my membership” you then will be able to choose from the following options:

How do you want to read this group?

Digest Email (Approximately 1 email per day)
